I think atheists like us need to stop allying evolution with non-belief. We need to stop using it to try and disprove creationism because evolution does not directly refute creation (hence deists: people who think god created the universe and let it run by itself.

It's turning into a pseudo-dogma and is being used against us in teaching creationism in schools.

I've never used it in an argument unless someone else brought it up. I fight 'fire with fire' and use what ever the person's beliefs are against them.

Plus I don't believe evolution anyways so I guess that helps me when in an argument. No Beliefs = Harder to consult.
