Karen, I am not receiving your posts to me. I do get posts to others.
@Loren, At the bottom of my posts is "Stop Following – Don't email me when people comment" and I assume that is the correct one to use.
Michael - I couldn't agree more. I have a book coming out this fall: Women Beyond Belief: Discovering Life without Religion. It is an anthology of essays by 22 women who left religion.
Loren - Thanks for taking a look at my blog. I have seen Steve Shives videos and the blow-back he gets from Thunderfoot I think. I got booted off a feminist atheist group on Facebook because I thought men should be allies. I mean, really?
Tom - Thanks for your comments. It is a wonder how women can apologize for all the misogyny in the Bible. Absolutely amazing. But I have talked to some of them personally.
Joan - Not sure my thank you for your interest appeared on this thread, so let's try again!
We need a lot more faithless feminists because in my perspective women have a lot more influence than they think. Women have been a strong force in keeping the churches filled over the years, and without women most men would not even shave. It's time we had some strong women standing up for their rights and a truth we can all believe in, not just the same old woo.

Hey, Karen!Had a look at your blog and LIKE it. I should also mention that I am astonished at the amount of blow-back the feminist movement has gotten from some atheists who style themselves as Men's Rights Advocates (or MRAs). It is worthy of note that there are those of us who very strongly support feminism, among them a very good internet friend of mine, one Steve Shives. Steve very frequently comments on issues regarding feminism and (I think) deserves your attention.
I have for forty years (since first meeting a politically active feminist who described herself as a materialist) wondered how any adult woman can remain a Christian.I suppose it's a result of childhood religious indoctrination, which I hope the law soon (like yesterday) treats as child abuse.Go, Karen; I wish you the best.
Welcome to Atheist Nexus, Karen. I am eager to share ideas with you.
