 Richard, I downloaded into my computer..felt some degree of guilt for getting it free of charge and purchased a 9.99 copy onto my kindle. Im not far along at all as all this came about at the start of a drill weekend. Im looking forward to reading.

I thought Jon Stewart did an admirable job of nudging Barton back to the issues when he tried to go off on a misleading tangent.  I agree that Barton misrepresented the FFRF National Day of Prayer lawsuit and Stewart either didn't get it or passed it by.  I think that was an important misstep, but you know....Jon Stewart is one of the most brilliant advocates for reason we have in media today.  No one gets it right every time.


This Barton guy is good at talking his game.  Anyone who intends to take him on better have their position very well researched and organized.

Thanks for posting this. I often find myself correcting a friend or relative's misquote of Einstein or some other famous historical figure, or calling them on flat-out untrue historical statements. Backing up my my statements with references usually makes them angrier and they either try to discredit the source or they appeal to emotion and claim that I'm just being a heartless "know-it-all." Sigh...
