I figured this would probably be the best way to say hello and introduce myself a bit better. After many a bashful months, were I mulled over the idea of joining this site, I finally took the plunge. I had followed the discussions about AN on PZ Myers site and simply waited to hear any other news. Now, curiosity has the better of me and since I really can't stand MySpace and FaceBook, I came here.

K. E. Taylor is the name and I'm a former member of the US Coast Guard, current computer systems engineer and starving writer. Current residence is the bustling major metropolis of Phoenix Arizona. Married, almost 26 years now, one child who is an ASU student, and proud owner of three of the greatest dogs you could ever meet. Been an atheist most of my life, but said nothing about it till some 10 years ago. Now, I'm one of those, 'in your face, show me the evidence and don't give me any platitude bullshit', kind of atheist. Drives the door knockers crazy on Saturday mornings.

I have a site over on blogspot but have not been able to really keep up with it. It also is just some of my ranting about stuff the local news rags won't publish, because I like to call fools, fools, when I see them. Needless to say the editor of the paper probably does not like my very direct approach to social issues. I've written well over 100 letters to the editor and have been ignored at every turn. So, AZ Hot Ops became an outlet for my frustrations. But I've kind of grown bored with it and will probably pull it off after the new year.

Other than that, I just wanted to say "HI" from the desert. Hope you all have a good holiday season and a Happy New Year. I hope to write more here than I did on blogspot and I actually hope to find readers here.

Ahh the dreams of a struggling author.

Oh, I got your point Don. The Arizona Repulsive is blasted for being "liberal" but publishes almost nothing but right wing talking points. An atheist has very little chance of getting his views printed.
