Hi Sydni, yes, Ann spends, let's see, ALL DAY with Bryce and has since I gave it to her 2 years ago. Literally, from dawn til she's falling asleep at the computer.

Bryce is very, very versatile and her artwork is totally different than mine.

Here is a link to Ann's site. HERE This link is to a particular piece of art because to the right of it you'll see a screen capture of the Bryce mesh which is how you work, adding color and texture in a 3D mesh world and then rendering, which takes a few seconds, to look at what you've done, and then going back to the mesh to make changes which is done repeatedly. By clicking on Ann's name below the artwork on the left you'll be taken to her page with the 100s of pieces she has posted there.

Sure, but if you look on the internet for Bryce 6 artwork you'll soon see that I'm not that good by comparison. It's a 3D software that's capable of reproducing in photographic quality. Cartoons, landscapes, technical drawings, abstracts and renderings are also done quite easily. It's free (Bryce 5) and easy to learn to use and absolutely a blast to play with. Ann has it on her computer too. While it looks daunting at first after just a few days is wonderful. Sydni, download it, you'll love it!!! The lower left corner is the Saturday Evening Post.

Sydni, you work in a real 3D environment on the screen. It's hard to describe but you can view your picture from any angle and stand anywhere in your drawing. So if I wanted to stand behind the chair and look from that direction I very easily could. You determine all of the lighting, sky, ground, sun, moon, shadows, everything imaginable is completely and easily controllable. The PERFECT software for out-of-work art teachers! You add textures, lighting and so much more. It really is awesome software and absolutely free for Bryce 5 and Bryce 6.1 is about $50. Both are virtually the same.
