I was just about to post a blog entry here, when I saw this on the AN site when I wasn't logged in. Hopefully this will make you guys laugh as much as it made me laugh.

Hopefully soon, all of us will find God's match for us. Fingers crossed. Sorry, I mean hearts crossed. Wait, I mean star-crossed. No, hang on. I don't know what I mean.

Not blaming you are all Matt. I also though the ad placement was funny!

Angela, I did not mean to cause offense by this post. I found humor in this because of the intrinsic irony of the ad's placement, not because I don't think relationships formed over the Internet can be lasting. I know that they can be. This was only meant to be funny, not divisive.

Brandi, I met my husband on the internet 13 years ago. Your blanket statement that most internet relationships don't last offends me. We have a wonderful marriage as do two other couples we know who met similarly.

Have to admit: happiness is being on Atheist Nexus, running Firefox with AdBlock Plus.  No ads, no BS, and no stupid christian dating crap.
