I am a hypocrite and an offensive racist or so I have been told.

I'm a Racist

That is right I am a racist as I believe that women have equal rights.
I am a racist as i believe that we should not have special consideration for on campus religious rituals in public schools.
I am a racist as I do not think people should be allowed to have special access to services based on any other biases other than physical, mental or financial disability.
I am a racist as i find the idea of body mutilation preformed on babies or any one under the age of majority to be disgusting.

I am offensive

I am told that as i do not accept that some ones personal religious beliefs can be forced children in a public school setting is not just wrong but evil.
I am offensive when I ask for you to give me evidence for claims.
I am offensive when I point out how you're claims fail to meet any valid standard of evidence.
I am offensive just for saying what I believe as it does not mach what you believe.
I am offensive when i point out how most people do not read the text that they proclaim there faith is placed in.
I am Extremely offensive when i tell them that beating women, killing children and keeping slaves is all allowed by the bible.
Or that when you mix fibers or have a tattoo this is on the same level as being gay or an apostate according to the bible. Christ stated that his arrival changed not one letter of the law.

I am a hypocrite

I used to believe in the bible.
I used to believe in the Norse Gods
I used to believe in the single unified divinity
I used to believe in a lot of strange things.

As I looked in to each path and found more and more things that I found
not just wrong but evil. I chooses to walk away.
As I looked in to each path I took only one thing away from them all.
They in the end where all so incompatible with life and being good to others that I could no longer find it in my hart to worship any form of god/force

if I am wrong, if i offend others, if you pray for me

I don't care. I looked i saw, it smelled like bullshit

Yes i have had this happen with two different people. Both where followers of the Islamic faith.

One who criticized me for letting my daughter wear yoga pants and take martial arts. should of seen the look on his face when he realized that she was not a student but one of the instructors and she was teaching his son. I looked over to him and stated that she could vary likely kick his sexist ass. This was when he complained not to me but to the head instructor that I was a racist. They where there for one of the free try before you buy classes. They did not come back.

am i the only one who's confused why someone would call you a racist b/c of your religious beliefs?  did this really happen?

Micheal, The only thing that holds me back is my wife. This post was originally going up on Facebook but then I did not want her family to go after her they will not argue directly with me as I will put them in their place and have them smelling the bullshit they try to feed my kids. In place of that they go after my wife who still loves her family and will not rock the boat.

Chris, I am about as offensive as you are. At least that's what my wife says. She thinks I should leave others alone and let them believe what they want to believe, and just have respect and be polite. When believers shove their crap at me I shove right back, and usually I piss them off bigtime.

You know what they say, Chris: if it looks like a duck and has down like a duck and goes "quack" like a duck...

I suppose it's one of the reasons why I have a problem with the word, "belief."  Belief can have a basis or not, or its bases can be substantial or not.  It's really rather a mealy-mouthed word, and that's at least one reason why I don't like it.  Conversely, I LIKE knowing or at least having a tangible foundation for those things which I think of as real.  That's probably the reason why I probably lit up like a Christmas tree when I first read the following quote:

I don't want to believe; I want to know.
-- Carl Sagan

Stipulated that you can't know everything, and there are some things you may never know for certain, but when you're confronted with something with no real foundation whatsoever, yet you're expected to swallow it whole ... yeah, that's a bit much to deal with!

Meantime, you and I both know you are neither a racist nor a hypocrite.  More likely you're a target of projection for those who want to paint you as such while ignoring the fact that the labels they use fit themselves better than they do you.

Just don't tell them that!  They'll get all upset...
