How many times a day do you hear that? I get so tired of explaining that I don't believe in god, I don't believe in prayer and you are actually insulting me with your "well, I'll pray for you anyway" comments.
Christians think they are the only ones who have a right to feel insulted when it comes to all matters religious. Why is that?
I compare this to smokers vs non-smokers. My husband is a smoker and I have never been. For a very short period of time after we were married he would smoke in the house only after I had gone to bed - at the other end of our home. When he stopped our friends were appalled, especially the smokers. "How can you tell a man he can't smoke in his own home?" Well, it was my home too! I feel the same way about religion. This is my world too and I have a right NOT to be prayed for, dammit! Respect my feelings and keep your sanctimonious BS to yourself.
