Is it the right time for democracy in Mideast ?

Democracy need fair play other wise it will be used by religion.
I don't think it is the right time for democracy in Mideast and that's because if there is democracy that means there will be Islamic parties, and the Islamic parties play in unfair way.
First the Islamic party use religion to frighten people about voting to other parties they tell people that if you vote for these parties you will go to hell because these parties include people who do not believe in god.
Secular parties are not organized or well funded like Islamic parties. Islamic parties have organized cells and they work actively in helping people and give them money in time of elections and promise them this help will continue after winning, but when election ends and after they win, they told them that Allah not satisfied we have to dominate the earth first in order to live better life.
Example of Islamic parties:
Muslim brotherhood in Egypt
Hamas Gaza
Justice and Development Party (Turkey)
ISIS in Syria and Iraq
Now Muslim brotherhood is most dangerous organization in human history, the are the inventor of sucide bomber and godfather of Al Gaida, Hamas and ISIS. They are very organized and well financially supported. The main idea of Muslim brotherhood is the "Islam is the only solution for human" and they want to dominate the earth and rule by Sharia all the world.
Hamas has same idea but with short term goal of destroy Israel.
Hamas lead their people to a war that destroy Gaza and thousands killed and injured.
Justice and Development Party, after Turkey giving up in Europe, they think of leading Mideast by Islam and return the Ottoman Empire in new form, and the best tool is using Islam and support Islamic parties in these countries.
One years of ruling of Muslim Brotherhood who come in rule by democracy in Egypt lead to destruction of Gaza which need 30 years to return Gaza to previous state before war.
After 9 11 people in Mideast became aware of the danger of radical Islam and extremists, that is why Hamas did not found the expected response from world like that in 2000, people awareness became high of these parties and their manipulation.
Most Palestinians support nonviolent methods of achieving their goals. And Palestinians in East Bank have different goals than Hamas's goals , and lead by Fataḥ . Fatah "formerly the Palestinian National Liberation Movement , is a leading Palestinian political party and the largest faction of the confederated multi-party Palestine Liberation Organization ".

I found a good article I would like to share it with who interested in this subject.

@Flying Atheist
The main idea of Sam Harris is that Islamic terrorism is not a result of poor condition or frustration, but it is core of Islam, everybody know that our old wise men and women always told us not to dig deep in Islam because it's dangerous,
And I totally agree with that, people who became terrorists been reviled to state of art brain washing techniques, using psychological methods that make those people believe 100% that if he killed in cause of alla he will have dinner with virgins.
But people blame everything except than brain washing five times a day by experts.

First Israel is not Jewish state, it's democratic state and there are many humanism and atheists, and there are extremists in Israel but they are few and do not have influence in political decision and if they do, Gaza will be out of the map now.
Second Israel can not survive without Palestinian, Palestinian are the main market for Israeli products, and economy of Israel depend on Palestinian, beside the supply cheap and skillful labour. Palestinian who live outside more than inside and they supply their families with money that participate in Israeli economy.

And for ISIS they count on what you said that US will tend not to involve in a war with them, but I think US started the war in Iraq and it have to finish it and if US retreat it will retreat forever.

.I absolutely  agree with you that Democracy  is the best form of government

That isn't quite what I'm saying. I'm just asking, is there a good alternative to democracy for countries in the Middle East?  Is it practical?  Isn't non-democracy dangerous?

There have been good autocratic rulers.  Sometimes these autocrats have used their power to change their countries for the better, when democratically elected leaders wouldn't have had the power to do so.  For example Peter the Great, czar of Russia.

But mostly, nondemocratic governments seem to be worse.  Power corrupts.

Rick, I like Sam Harris very much and I think he gets unfairly criticized by some atheists for his views on islam.  Let's face it, he tells the truth that some people don't wish to accept because of misguided political correctness.

Regarding Israel It's only about Gaza because it's Israel security , Israel can invade Gaza in 3 hours, as in article in the post's link , all countries support Israel except Qatar and Turkey, but Hamas use human shield, so the operation may take time to insure that so no innocent children get hurt. And Palestine authority doing their best to get Hamas out of power , and when the war is over humans will not find any support from Palestinian, so Hamas will continue to fight or else it will lose all.
For ISIS I think US have to be involved because all Al Gaida members are gathered there.

I think atheists know about religion and politics more than other, because when there is no god people have to take the responsibly.
I have been for long time not Muslim not atheist I did not know there is something called atheism and I did give care about anything happen in the world, until by accident came to Sam Harris lecture and I was so touched, because I understand every word he said. But I think he is far from being understood by everyone even among atheists.

But again, I ask - what is it that you think is better than democracy in the Middle East, for now?

You are afraid that in a system of majority rule, radical Islamic factions would have too much power.

But democracy isn't simply majority rule.  When we talk of establishing democracy in the Middle East, we presumably mean constitutional democracy, where the majority rule is limited by fundamental rights and a structure of government that is specified by the constitution.

So if not democracy now, what?  You think an enlightened monarchy would be better?  A military government?

I'm not saying democracy has to be better.  And it may be that democracy wouldn't work well now in many countries of the Middle East.

But, as Winston Churchill said - you have to compare democracy to the alternatives!

Rick, you are correct that containment of the radical Islamic parties needs to come first, but I highly doubt having Israel involved in that process is going to make it happen easier, faster, or without bloody protest.

I think the first step before democracy is to contain the radical Islam parties,
In West Bank Palestine there is no existence of Hamas there, now people live there without problems.
And this done by help of Israel , because Palestine authority have no power or experience to fight terrorists.
But in Gaza where Hamas rule people live in panic and fear, with no future, but I think Israel will soon contain Gaza and put Hamas leaders and member in prisons.

In Egypt the new government will isolate any Islamic extremist Muslim brotherhood from society.
I think war against radical Islamic terrorism have priority over democracy.
