 Senior DBA responsible for all 24x7 production databases in a high availability clustered environment.
 Responsible for hardware installation, configuration and maintenance for all production and development database servers.
 Maintained O/S, database and security patches as required.
 Managed permissions for all users down to the object level.
 Developed, maintained and optimized T-SQL code in ASP applications, stored procedures, extended stored procedures and triggers.
 Developed and implemented Disaster Recovery plan for all critical production database systems.
 Implemented change control procedures for all production database systems.
 Implemented database monitoring and error notification system for all production database systems.

DBA/Business Analyst 1999–2001 Saint Francis Hospital Memphis, TN
 Responsible for developing and monitoring all HL7 interfaces between third party clinical and financial applications.
 Responsible for all SQL Server® database administration and security.
 Database sizes up to 1 terabyte.
 Solely responsible for implementation of MS Exchange 5.5 and the conversion of all users.
 Implemented and maintained network faxing solution, including automated faxing of lab results to physicians.

DBA/Analyst 1997–1999 BMHCC Memphis, TN
 Sole DBA responsible for all production databases for the Central Services Bureau.
 Responsible for data feeds, analysis and reporting for the FocalPoint HEDIS data warehouse, using OLAP services and Crystal Reports.
 Designed and implemented new departmental applications using Visual Basic and SQL Server.

Project Manager 1995–1997 NSA, Inc Memphis, TN
 Responsible for management of all contract programming staff.
 Responsible for all planning, budgeting and resource allocation for IT projects.
 Responsible for design and implementation of new credit card authorization system to support the Sales department.
 Responsible for redesign and implementation of EDI interfaces to support logistics operations for the European division.

Application Analyst 1984–1996 LMI Memphis, TN
 Responsible for the design and implementation of new Repair Depot and DRP application using HP-UX and Oracle 7.1.
 Responsible for development of conversion programs to move data from the legacy application.

Senior Consultant

1993–1994 Keane Louisville, KY
 Responsible for development of interfaces from legacy mainframe application to new Oracle/DB2 based client/server application at GE Appliances.
 Developed resource usage system and other system management utilities
 Created all SQL code for the to access the DB2 databases for other developers.
