So.. Usually my outlet is my Youtube page (Jeanstake).. But lately it has just not been doing the job for me... I really just wanna meet someone like me.. I love my friends dearly, I really do.. But there's like this big barrier it seems.. I feel like I'm discriminating against people who believe but the fact is I'm so sick of these beliefs that I don't care about being called discriminatory anymore! Is it wrong for me to want a friend?? I don't think so. So um yeah. Maybe I'll try this again later...

I understand how you feel but, this site is all Non-Theists so no one has any Religion. I have religious friends too but, I find the type that are not Extremists. A lrage group or most are Religious but don't damn me or think I'm evil.
Christian, Jewish, Hindu, ect are NOT the same as Extremists. I group people like *these are Youtube Usernames BTW* Geerup, Jezuzfreek777 and VenomFangX into a totally different category I call "Religiously-Nationalist" because they seem like they've been taught by Adolf Hitler or something.
I have a YouTube channel too. MusicMyLife2112 here for Atheism, the way Norway has a great economy and hasn't been to war in ages. :)

You're not asking too much at all, and you are definitely not wrong!

One of the reasons I came to A|N was to find people who wouldn't constantly be interjecting their beliefs in various invisible friends into the conversation. While I don't mind interacting with believers, and have many who are family, friends, and acquaintances, I'd like to be able to talk about all topics important to me. I suspect you might be here for similar reasons.

For "quality time", we have every right to pick and choose who we want as friends. I look at it as charging emotional batteries. Having to compartmentalize and avoid certain topics all the time can be draining. This is why I try to be very specific about who I let into my inner circle.

My experience with social networking sites is that it takes time to meet real friends. I have one atheist friend I met via the now defunct who lives about 1.5 hours away. The other is my cohabi-tater, who I met via an email list. I suggest joining or creating Atheist Nexus groups for people in your area.

Well yeah, but the thing is... I have all kinds of great internet friends, but there comes a time when I seek a "real" friend.. someone I can invite over, go out to lunch with, etc... Or maybe that's asking too much...

Well, understand that nearly everybody here is here for the same reason :P So I don't think you'll find anyone here that would take offense at your wanting non-religious friends. Some atheists are able to do it well, but for a lot of us, we just get tired of all the bullcrap :P
