Muslim Scientist: Neil Armstrong Proved Mecca – World Center

Here's a video that blew me away completely by its absurdity...
I mean... what can I say?
Is this guy on drugs or what??

Further proof that religion is a virus that takes over the mind, to survive every generation.

Muslims like to claim everyone famous was a Muslim, as if it helps them take credit. One of my former Muslim friends claimed that Buddha was a Muslim, despite that he lived before Islam was formed--kind of like calling Moses a Christian.

Murtad, you are right, the Muslims have embraced new age woo!

About Mecca having magical powers--wasn't Mecca kind of a makeshift Islamic headquarters, since the Muslims didn't have Jerusalem? Also, emitting infinite radiation makes Mecca sound more like the ultimate evil!

JstN Earthling, I have been a huge admirer of Armstrong since the time I did a small school project on "Man in Space" and learned a bit about him. Next time you talk to him, please tell him that a fan from Pakistan salutes him :-)

Btw, I saw your response to this on YouTube..It was great!!

This drivel sounds like something coming from a cult that are waiting for a comet to take them the "new world". But such crap can be sold to a poorly educated, uneducated and religious fundamentalist people.
The quality of science quacks has certainly deteriorated.

Is she a man? ... only kidding :-)

Anyway...I have to say, I've got enormous respect for anyone who puts their life on the line for the cause of science. It's a great cause indeed. Too many people give their lives for the cause of evil religious and political ideologies.
As I have written in my other blog post, science has proven itself to be true by flying man to the moon, and it has done so THIS SIDE OF THE GRAVE. The best religion can do is false promises the OTHER side of the grave.

Neil Armstrong was wondering who "hung" the world??? This guy is a muslim for sure but I am quite confident that he never even came a few centimeter close to science in his entire life!

Many years ago I read some story in a local newspaper in Pakistan that Armstrong heard the azan on moon and then later converted to Islam. Of course the author if such stories had no idea the sound does not travel through vacuum. Muslims have a fetish for trying to connect everything in quran to scientific facts. This is something I was taught too while I was growing up.

JstN Earthling: You are a friend of Neil Armstrong??? Wow!!

What you see these days is many religions know that science is too popular a meme to oppose (openly). So they try to hitch a ride on the science memeplex as a new strategy to survive. You also see that many New Age groups borrow clever-sounding scientific words to attract followers and increase their chances of survival.
