I don't understand blind faith. Since we all evolve from simpler organisms, doesn't it make sense that God is an eventuality, not a precursor of life?
This is why I worship my friend, Evan.
Simply because I can see him, experience him, and KNOW that he is there.
And if I pray to Evan, he might actually be able to help me with my problems.
And I'm waiting for the day when we're together and someone else brings up the subject of faith and asks me, "Well, what do you believe in?" And I can point to my right or to my left and say, "That guy."

Now I can say, "Oh my god!" and not feel like a hypocrite, because I'm merely exclaiming to Evan.
And if I say, "Evan dammit!" a living, tangible human being can damn it.

Well...kind of like the concept...after all...I know a few goddesses. I guess that it depends how the worshiping is done. Enriching my life with the spirit of another has always been a favorite of mine.
