I remember absolutely nothing of the time before I was born and that's fine. I suspect very deeply that after I've  ceased being it will be much the same.

There is no grace, there is no guilt beyond the law, Do what thou wilt.

Well, the Mark Twain quote was a natural.  I figured SOMEONE would come up with it, and Pat was good enough to oblige me.

Sometimes, even among atheists, there is no new thing under the sun!

Love the Mark Twain quote, Pat. Kudos!

Every time I've gotten a wisdom tooth pulled had a colonoscopy I've faced death, but each time I woke up. When I really die, I just won't wake up. As for heaven and hell, if they actually did exist, I'd probably choose hell. Just about any image of heaven that religionists create seems to me to be so boring that it could be hell.  Besides, I've lived in Detroit, so I know hell!  :)

I do not fear death. I was dead for millions of years before I was born and it never inconvenienced me a bit. Mark Twain
