This time, World Net Daily reports that it's been located on Mt Ararat in Turkey
(as usual). Chinese and Turkish Evangelicals have released an image of a
large wooden beam they claim they found at 13,000 feet and carbon-dating
suggests it is from 4800 yrs ago. Hong Kong documentary maker,
Wing-cheung Yeung stated that he's 99% sure it's got to be Noah's Ark,
but admits he isn't 100% sure.

That looks awfully well-preserved for 4800 year-old wood (assuming the picture above is the wood they are discussing).

See today's blog. . . stunningly, Randall Price - bigtime ark hunter, comes out about it being a fake.

But, is the wood Gopher wood? Oh yeah, Noah used it all up building the ark so it's now extinct.

Found this.

What will you say when DNA testing on the beam reveals kangaroos, new world monkeys, and pteradactls were hosed together?

You really must make your sarcasm more subtle.
Was funny nevertheless.

What really annoys me is, when they discover it's not the Ark, the evangelicals will have already stuck the false story to their fridges and will be pointing it out as valid proof that they're right till the day they pass away.

Never will they hear that they were wrong.
And neither will they want to hear it.

Ignorance at it's peak.

5 years ago they claimed they found it, turns out they lied, and led researchers to examine a rock formation...

... but this time... what they found is actually made of wood! lol.

But an arc? No. Just wood.
But good effort guys. You recognized wood this time.

Exactly, Feralboy12... that's precisely what I wondered. When it suits, I suppose!!

And Hugh, my dear friend, to the point as always!

Mihai, I tried not to put a count in there since I was sick today and barely managed to pull this together! I *think that there are more than three... the illustrious rag World Net Daily mentions four in their article referenced here. Of course, the count is zero if we're talking 'reality'.

BTW, Kovac's article has been updated since I wrote today's piece with a couple more images of this earthshattering and biblically astounding discovery.

Expeditions like this one have some felicitous effects. If nothing else, they redistribute some of the wealth of the intellectually retarded to a carbon-dating lab and provide a temporary boost to the local Turkish economy.

So when did the bible boomers start believing in carbon dating? They buy into it when it suits their purposes?
Even so, the only conclusion that we can really draw here, assuming they're not lying, is that it's a 4800-year-old piece of wood at 13,000 feet. Occam's Razor would suggest we go with an explanation that has no magic dingleberries attached.
