I think Gould's "non-overlapping magisteria" was probably his second biggest "blunder". On par I think, with Dawkins' "Spectrum of Theistic Probability". Well intentioned, but in the end …utterly useless proposals.
I think I need to start saying "hellfire and buggery" around here. It will make me sound so cultured and worldly.
I love that you say "Bugger". It's so English.
Do images of Jesus on toast and tortillas count as revelations? Maybe that's what god has been reduced to. I could add images of Jesus on dog anuses (and that is really one of the most effective that I have seen) but god wouldn't do that so it's a human visual illusion.
*I don't get why everyone thinks THEY have the right religion and everyone else has the wrong religion. It's like arguing whether Picard or Kirk is the most effective starship commander on Star Trek.
I think my head would have exploded. Listening to deluded people arguing with deluded people would give me a panic attack, at least. I would rather watch monkeys fight over a banana.
