Let’s say, just for the sake of argument, that there is a God and there is an afterlife. What if we get to heaven only to find out that God doesn’t like us. After all, he stuck us on a planet far away from him. He drowns us, burns us, and blows us all over the place. He freezes us, let’s our children die, watches us get beaten, raped, abused and waste away slowly from disease. He does it to animals, too. He even does it to bacteria. Let’s face it, he doesn’t like us. So how do you think he’s going to treat us when if he gets us on his own turf?

Once I recognized the xtian god was a right prick it became a lot easier to blow of Pascal's wager. (And since then I've read a lot of philosophy showing how bunk it is.)
