'Unbelieving' WLC - William Lane Craig exposed by Lawrence Krauss

It would seem as though our favorite "professional philosopher" and christian apologist, William Lane Craig [gag-retch!] has been playing fast and loose with what may be a pirate recording of the pending documentary, The Unbelievers.  Per usual, Craig makes assumptions and leaps of something (I can't call it logic!) and other distortions which he attempts to draw from the film, which features Drs. Lawrence Krauss and Richard Dawkins.  Why Craig didn't think his BS would be found out and rebutted, I have no idea, but this kind of brazenly mendacious behavior deserves a serious loss of credibility on his part, not that he has any credibility among our ranks to begin with!

Anyhow, let me turn the conversation over to Dr. Krauss, who will spell it out.  Enjoy!

Mathew, while you're at it, throw in Richard Carrier.  Let's be thorough.

I'll repeat what I said in another discussion started by A|N member GOD'aye. And that is need for these theistic mountebanks to constantly and continuously lie. The irony, which unfortunately is not all that surprising, is they commit blatant and intentional dishonesty to promote the idea that they hold the high ground on a moral and ethical landscape.  In this case, it's not only Craig's the falsification of what Dawkins and Krauss actually said (or didn't say), but the intentional use of a pirated tape.  We now know that Craig is both a thief and a liar. As I said, it's not at all surprising.  Then again, why should it be, when you are a proponent of a doctrine that simply is false to begin with.

My understanding is that Dawkins and Krauss (and the producing film company) are withholding the movie until the distribution process is fully sorted out.  As I understand it, they also want it to be eligible for the Academy Awards in 2014.

As to how Craig got a hold of an audio copy, it wouldn't surprise me that one of his troops attended one of the select showings with a recorder of some description in his pocket, and, as they say, the rest is history.  His treatment of The Unbelievers and failure to anticipate the response to it tells me that he is 1) getting desperate and 2) recognizing that his old chops aren't cutting the mustard any more.

Craig has clearly shot himself in the foot here, though whether fatally or not is yet to be determined.
