Update on the works by the Pathfinders Project team at Kasese Humanist Primary School

The Pathfinders Project team are currently serving at KHPS where they are volunteering to teach children subjects Mathematics, English, Science, Computer skills and Humanist values. An article about them appeared on the Friendly Atheist Blog . Read out the article on the link http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2013/09/23/taking-you-...

The Pathfinders are to serve at the school for a period of one month and thereafter will go spend another month at the Mustard Seed Secondary School which is run under the Uganda Humanist Schools Trust.

The volunteers have so far done lots of constructive work at the school ranging from teaching the children, donating school supplies and visiting families.

I don't know how much chance there is for the message on the blackboard though :)

Yes, I have the impression that African countries don't send many students to foreign graduate schools partly because the education system doesn't prepare students well for grad school.  Also maybe they just don't have the money to go.

I would like to see all of these efforts succeed there because it will help in the spread of truth. The more the world gets away from a need of a deity, the less fighting worldwide we will have.
