that Utah is trying to "outlaw" miscarriages. Never mind 1 out of 4 pregnant women suffer miscarriages, they will investigate all of them.
The dumbest thing about this law is it's vague wording. Being "knowingly reckless" and doing something that could cause the miscarriage is the same as doing something that did cause it. It doesn't matter if the fetus wasn't viable anyways, but if you got punched in the stomach, or walked around with your shoes untied, you are a murderer. Oh, and never mind that if you got a legal abortion, that doesn't count.
Really, did they think this one out?
