With gracious permission from Glen, I have decided to make one of our chat exchanges into a blog post. I love Glen's rhyme's he is a true artist. I made a few minor tweaks for formatting but the content is identical to its original format.

Glen Rosenberg

do you say da bad words?

I don't

do you?

I wont

will you?

  • Fuck I don't know... depends on what you define as a bad word. I would call a word bad if its used to diminish another human. And yes as a shitty fallible human I have said bad words, though I try not to. I don't like being around it or doing it and I especially don't like being subjected to it.

  • but words carry no intrinsic ideological notion of good or evil, right or wrong in their own merit, it is how we use and apply them that turn them into tools for good (well-being) or evil (harm)

  • What I find funny, is Christians don't agree with me but their Holy book does agree with me on this lol.

  • When I point out that god never handed down a list of good or bad words (with the exception of blasphemy, but since I don't believe in any gods fuck god), they still think "bad" words exist because they had that drilled into their brains and are scared to deviate from it. The bible does say calling someone a fool puts you in danger of hell.
  • so basically the bible's standard on what defines a good or bad word is identical to mine. "Except I don't think anyone will go to hell for calling Trump an Idiot...

  • To add fuel to the fire, our present notion of good/bad words is derived from a dark ages bullshit form of class warfare (rich vs poor)

  • Once again, the bible takes what could be a decent moral lesson and fucks it up by adding heaven and hell into the mix, and Christians miss the fucking point entirely and continue to worship their real god which are the priests. Ultimately, they don't give a fuck about their holy book lol.

It is impossible to debate a person who will not handicap themselves with a knowledge of the facts.

Charles suggested I add  "In the end I don't even know why i'm bothering trying to argue insanity's logic ..." I think its a worthy addition, but its was not included in the original exchange. hmm should I add it?
