Thanks for the lead to Fort Hood - Nidal Malik Hasan trial. Yes, I am extremely interested in this fellow, his thinking and actions.

I'm not sure what your last question refers to. If it was my last sentence in my previous comment, I should have said, "If ONE wants to be of help, ....". I certainly didn't mean you personally. Are we on th same page? Glad you like the amputee website.

I'm wondering if (and will check on) the website "doesgodhateamputees.com" is still active(?).  And all those prayers on healing, saving, protecting, preventing, etc., --wasted efforts. You're right. If you want to be of help, do something constructive.

I've been reporting the spammers, as I believe Flying Atheist is also. They bug the living shit out of me.  Glad to know you're doing it also.

Loren, my friend, I was thinking of leaving a comment about the JW thing, but, frankly,... I, have had quite enough," help" . Still love those sacred videos though !  Many thanks again.

The first month, for me, required being near the bathroom and a big supply of clean clothes. That stopped abruptly, and I feel fine now. I have a very limited diet, and it is delicious. No fresh fruits or vegetables, but they taste delicious cooked. In goes a nice chunk of salmon, or shrimp, or cod and I have a totally nutritious meal with all the elements needed to restore health. I have my old vinegar back. The

HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!! How can a person brought up in a nominally secular world give up any semblance of dignity and freedom? I'll never understand the willing abrogation of freedom of thought.

While you are in Dallas, see if you can talk the powers that be to take creationism out of the textbooks and put Thomas Jefferson back in.

I'm loving Sam Waterman and Newsroom. Your video file has some really good things I have watched and I look forward to seeing the rest. Thanks.

It is the darndest thing, I do the Google search and use Google Alert, I come up with zilch! You send me the sites and I find all kinds of programs to watch. I guess Google isn't as good as I thought it was. Anyway, I am glad I didn't delete your mail when I tried to clean out my mailbox and I think I now have them all lined up to either watch, read, or listen to. I am in for a good time. Thanks

It makes good sense to write "Habemus papam" after learning more about Pope Francis. I have no doubt, even though he is a softer, kinder, gentler man than most, he still follows the principles of RCC. Every point you made is valid and needs to be said out loud.

Your "Habemus papam" piece seems to be a blog. What is a blog? How is it different than posting on Hang with friends? Why do you us it instead?

Loren, I have been going through your file and finding some real jewels. The one:

"after the election of Joseph Ratzinger as Pope Benedict XVI.  "

"Habemus papam;" we have a pope, specifically Joseph "

is GOOD! Jeez, I really like it when you get fired up. OK! I would like to repost it but with your editing for this pope, or your OK vor me to bring it up to date and attribution to you.

I'd give an eye-tooth to write as powerfully as you.

Well, it seems the note I just sent you didn't go through ... a common event because I fail to push the "Add Comment" button." Damn!

Well, here goes again and it may be a repeat:

Good job on getting a response from Sherrod Brown. Now the job is to get it to come "before the Senate".  What will that take? I'll write my senators. Especially with the lousy "austerity" bug going around, a more appropriate source of funding is to stop spending taxpayer money on military ministering for Jesus Christ.

Loren, I just found again your Dec. 25, comment with your recommended film that so outraged me, the officer lectured his troops to be paid missionaries for Jesus Christ. This was my comment to Facebook today:
Our young service men and women are "ripe as black bananas", Oh! So we hire these fine people to go a foreign land, risk life and limb, come home in a box, or crippled physically and mentally and for what purpose?

"It's great to be a government paid missionary for Jesus Christ!" Is that what their purpose is? Why did the group not stand up and walk out after hearing these first few words. Who are these people? Zombies? Ignorant? Gullible? Weak? Helpless? Sheep to be led into slaughter without even a beep?

I feel sick to my stomach.
