Thanks for dropping by. Lobbying was pretty thankless from all sides, yeah. Much happier playing naturalist in the Howdyho wilderness! Stay safe in that crazy weather you've been having!

Hey Brent! I notice on your wall that you like to listen to American Heathen. Have you also listened to Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor's show? They're the copresidents of Freedom From Religion Foundation ( Dan Barker used to be an evangelical minister until he had a "conversion" of sorts to atheism, and has written a number of books about atheism and his experiences. Their show, too, is called "Freethought Radio"--check it out!

Noam Chomsky has an explanation: "Systemic risk in the financial system can be remedied by the taxpayer, but no one will come to the rescue if the environment is destroyed. That it must be destroyed is close to an institutional imperative. Business leaders who are conducting propaganda campaigns to convince the population that anthropogenic global warming is a liberal hoax understand full well how grave is the threat, but they must maximize short-term profit and market share. If they don't, someone else will."

Yes thank you, just working on the obsession, since I'm off work further comment on the reasons for that at this time except wouldn't it be wonderful if Earth Day fall on this day and hundreds of millions of people took the time to work on cleaning up our ragged little nest instead of whatever the heck it is we're supposed to be doing with this time.
