Hi MJ. Nice to meet you. Must be pretty warm where you are in Georgia. It is 40 and raining here in Michigan. My brohter has lightened up a little since our last conversation. By the way, I love all you pictures.
Taking yourself to the Grand Canyon? Wow, good for you! I love your 'Just do it' attitude. One of my best, youngest memories is of a raft trip down the Colorado River when I was eight years old. I still remember much of it because it was so amazing.
Welcome much! As for the trojan Horse thingy, it was a "gift" to a god [name escapes me], and it was the weapon of war! It wasn't a real gift! Ant this was 12 years after the seige of Troy when the fames Achilles supposedly fighting.. Like all Greek/ Roman mythical characters, he was likely an invented icon that got way out of proportion- Like Isreal Bessel (whoops, i mean Paul Revere. Or did i?) , like Hercules, Like...Um... boy, it's right on the tip of my toungue...
JESUS!!! Man, i knew i knew it hahaha :)
but no, the movie Troy was accurate about everything except the time frame for the horse and the Coins-on-the-Eyes thing (coins weren't invented yet.)
I use Nikon D80 at the moment. Have used Nikon since the early '80s. I have a website, but there aren't any really good pics on there are the moment... I keep saying I'm going to redesign.... one day.... I'd really like to have a slideshow feature like the one on your site... Did you do it?
Hey! I'm soon to be moving down to GA (The Kings Bay area, to be specific) and I'm thinking of looking to set up an atheist group in the area, if there is none that I can find. If I am to do so, do you think this would be something you would be interested in being a part of?
