Thanks for the invite. Interesting note below on the recalcitrance of Mormon's. I was converted at eight, and played the role thinking I would find real faith. Never did, but I sure tried, and I defended the Church. You bet.
You're right about the recalcitrance of the average Mormon.
In my case, I never could make myself actually believe any of the doctrine, so it isn't so much that I listened or didn't listen. I just decided to stop playing the role-playing game and be myself.
More from me down the road but for now back to my real world ,
which is modest fee based, music consultant for a variety of acts and moderate size production companies around the world. Our website is back on line just in case anyone cares, http://www.themusicumbrella.net
BTW, I am looking for a cool humanist/ rational thinking yet passionate act.It is time for us to be singing our praises like the other side does...
Thank you for the welcome. I plan to look around in my spare (!) time. With the recent onslaught of anti-women legislation in my state (AZ), I'm doing all that can be done, so there is not much time for pleasure reading or visiting. I'm very glad my friend Crystal invited me, and am excited to be here! I'll see you soon, I hope.
