We live in times where facts and solid proof defer between fact and fiction spending half my life as an Hindu and 13 years as a Christian I felt deep within my heart it didn't make sense and am truly glad to be amongst people who share my views
Thank you Terry for the welcome and the invite. I am certainly going to look at the "origins" discussions. However, can you help me orient by telling me in a nitshell the purpose of that discussion group, and specifically why you point me (and others) in that direction? Very best - Dan
Moved the desert and studied religion for the last eight years.
Now ready to move on.
Really like your definition of an atheist.
After eight years of studying religion I have yet to read the bible.
I view it like an auto junk yard. There are some good parts there in all that junk.
I thought the subject would be boring, but it turned out to be quite fascinating and enjoyable.
Data was made possible by the internet and authors who wrote books about different subjects of religion and religion related subject matter such as for example to name a few, burial, olives, horses, cowry shells, pomegranates, adoption, loans and financing, schooling, education, writing systems, names, plagues, etc.
Just to name a few subjects of the many that has very much to do with religion and is part of religion. And if you don’t understand the relationships, you will never fully understand religion which is your heritage.
I don’t feel that this web site is the place or that I have found the place here to do a posting.
Could you find the time to guide me on these issues?
I could send you a posting if you like and you could let me know if you think it would do for this web site.
I believe I have been discriminated against based on the fact that I am not a Christian, and more so, an atheist. School boards, State college admissions, on and on. I understand that the agency to call is the Justice Dept. Any thoughts?
