Hey! back again, after one hell of a month. Ended up in Homeless shelter for 2weeks. Because of no heating and no water. But here Iam smiling again. HAPPPY NEW YEAR, I know a little late, better late than never. Hope all is well with you. :-)
Seen your post on the AAI page, the next European convention will be cohosted by Atheist Ireland and will be held in Dublin.
We're putting together a list of Speakers and in negotiations with potential venues. The working date will be 3-5 June 2011
I think there will be a few of the guys from AtheismUK flying over.
Keep an eye on http://atheist.ie and you'll get info when it comes out.
Hi Justin, sorry I haven't been around much lately.....I've been seduced by Farmville and getting my stupid farm just right is taking all of my online time. It's vacuous and addictive!
I'm always interested in consulting up with other atheist parents. I struggle with where to draw the line between fantasy and reality with my 6 year old. Why am I fine to support her belief in the tooth fairy but adamant that I can't smile and tell her that heaven is real like her school friends tell her. Am I doing her a favour or scaring the hell out of her..so to speak. So, other parents' input is welcomed. :-)
In response to your recent query, Gwaithmir is Sindarin Elvish for Karl. It may resemble a Welsh name because Tolkien might have employed some Welsh when he created the Elvish languages on Middle Earth.
