Thanks for these friendship requests. I checked out the Atheist Feminist group just now, and I see that there are men in it. I wounder if that's appropriate. During my youth as a political activist in Vancouver, no men were allowed within feminist groups, which always bugged me as I was mostly raised by my older sisters (I'm the last of 8 - 5 sisters and 2 brothers), and never understood sexism. Ah well, I'm having problems keeping up with it all any way, as my job and hobby keep me so busy.

hee hee hee! Yep, drastic changes needed in the world of Lucy! ha ha!

Oh yes, i look forward to going to Cannes - and Monte Carlo etc etc ha ha. I pretty much chose Nice because it is quite fancy and i love the glamour! hee hee!
Not to mention the fact that there will be great skiing not too far away! :)

hee hee hee - you sound almost as mad as i am!

Yeah, in France i will be living in Nice, which i am really looking forward to. I might go to either Biarritz or Paris for the last two months, but i shall make up my mind when there.

I decided to take a year out because i'm sick of the academic world at present. Making some drastic changes! LOL!

I struggle with statistics - i think that i will have to ask for extra tuition in that hee hee. I'm pretty hopeless with maths hee hee.

I'll be sure to let you know - although, to be honest - it could be a year or two before i am ready to commit to any particular field - i'm taking a year out of university at the moment and moving to London for a few months before moving to France for 6 - 8 months. I will likely do an online course or two in this time, but until then - it's all about having fun! hee hee!

I have a friend who is from Austria - she's back there at the moment. She is married to a local man and has recently graduated with a degree in social work - she's one of the nicest people i have ever met! I think that she is from near the Salzburg area.

Grr - i just commented on my own page hee hee. I always do that!!

Well, i haven't decided completely - i guess it depends on what phd i can get into lol.

Differential psychology is definitely an area of interest, although i imagine i would be studying a lot of that in either neuro or clinical anyway - i think it is a highly important thing to study.

I also love criminal psychology, but don't think i would like to make a career out of it, i don't think i could handle talking to pedo's without wanting to kill them! LOL. People are highly trained to do so though, so perhaps with the essential techniques it wouldn't be so difficult.

I'm an OLD fart... I left Sweden in 1976. I have been back periodically. I am aware of the influx of hardcore theists, and it is BECOMING a problem for Europe. At least (in most cases) you don't have televangelists and theitards actually running your governments. The US is turning into a theocracy of sorts.

Greetings back to you. Saw you had joined a few groups that I am also part of. I was born an raised in Europe myself (Sweden). I know religiosity isn't quite the problem we have here in America, but that doesn't mean ALL Freethinkers in the world can't unite.

Oh, and I am a huge George Carlin fan as well.

Thanks for adding me! :) I notice that you are keen on psychology - same here; i'm hoping to do the phd but cannot decide between neuro and clinical! hee hee!!

Holiday, eh? Sounds good. I've not been on a holiday for over a year now, but I can't really complain, I don't really deserve one! I'll take a good holiday when I finish the PhD, hopefully.

I've been working mainly (that, and messing about on the internet.... well probably more of that than actual work ). Works not so bad, got a presentation out of the way, and I'm doing some SCUBA diving to collect samples. Which is not bad at all!

Hello, been a little while since we were in contact, how are you?

I've been busy with some work, I think it's going OK.

Anyway, just thought I'd drop you a quick message. :-)

Very sweet bio - 'wish I had said it as well. I am from Bellingham, Washington USA about 90 minutes north of Seattle. I have not been to Austria though I would very much like to visit. I was on holiday in 2005 and visited London, Amsterdam, parts of rural Germany (about as close as I got to Austria) and the Oberland area in Switzerland. Drove from Interlaken back to Amsterdam in one freakish day to catch a flight. Ack!

Do you have any photos or video clips you'd care to share? From your home in Austria? I am working on a music video. The intent is for snippetts of a wide ranging view of the world, from Vienna to London to small town USA, set to music without commentary, with rather damning footage of the Bush administration et. al. The soundtrack is up Here
Anything real and/or nasty about bush would be a bonus.

Well that's not good, if the site's not working properly for you. I wonder why - it's been fine for me.

With regard to the sham discussions, I've been watching it pretty carefully. I hope it didn't worry you too much, I was around on this site for a while on the day the whole thing developed and I was concerned. But now it seems like the explanations were reasonable, and I'm pretty happy that all is well.

I'm OK, though I'm spending far too much time on this site when I should be working!

Hi! Greetings from the UK!

I saw bit's of GC's stuff online (you know the bits!) so I basically cleaned out his section in the Virgin Megastore in New York when I was there, as you can't really find that stuff for sale over here. I got a boxed set, which includes some of his earlier stuff...... he's a bit less angry and political then, but still funny!

I also got a bit of Lewis Black. Seen any of his stuff?

How's Vienna treating you?
