Yeah, I agree about eating healthy vegan food. When people find out I'm a vegan they often start asking about what can I eat and assume that my choices are limited. Actually, in my opinion, vegan diets are often much more interesting and I don't feel limited at all.
Glad to meet you. I actually live in Seymour, but I work in Maryville. I dont know how long it has been since you last visited but Maryville has grown quite a bit in the fifteen or so years I have lived here. It seems that everything within a 30 mile radius of Knoxville is just a suburb of the city.
Hi! I've been a vegan since 1996. Before that I was an on again/ off again vegatarian all of my life. As a child, it just seemed wrong to me to eat other beings. But as I had little choices, I ended up reverting several times until college. Once I did more research into the meat & dairy industries, I was convinced that veganism was the way to go.
I think my wife would be more willing to convert to the bright side if we knew people like the people you know.
BTW. I have stayed in the Atlanta area twice. Once in about 1993 when I was there with my business partner for training at Blimpie University. Freezing rain all night and the city was closed. It was strange to see such a small amount to freezing rain close the city. The second time was maybe 2005 when there was a killer on the lose in downtown. We flew into Miami and then had to drive back home (long story involving me being husband of the year).
I'll let you know I'm coming before the next time.
