Howdy Greg. Good to hear from you. You're doing great stuff, keep up the good work!
I couldn't find an atheist magazine that would take my "Asskiss" essay so I eventually placed it here on the Nexus.
We had a great end-of-year party for our group, sang atheist carols, heard presentations. I'm reading a wonderful atheist book "Out of God's Closet" by Stephen Uhl, check it out.
Hope to see you soon!
A few. Probably more than I know. I can think of about 10 that I know personally, but no one who really into organizing/meeting like I would be. We tried the meetup.com thing but only 2 or 3 of us would show up consistently and they are no longer in town. So I'm pretty much stuck communicating with other atheists on the internet. It's a shame that atheists for the most part aren't that interested in organizing. I don't understand that mindset but I don't think that there is anything wrong with it either. All you have to do is look at one of these polls that say we are the most hated group in America and you can understand why people aren't rushing to be recognized as atheists. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that we have a state director. Thank you for taking on that responsibility for us. I need to re-join AA- I think I let my membership expire.
