Hey there! I'm doing good thanks. Left alone for the week as mother is off visiting my dad in Egypt so it's nice having some peace and quiet!! Only thing is...we recently got a puppy and she's a lot of hard work ha ha ha! I love her to bits though so can't complain really! Today i have a bit of a hangover - got a wee bit drunk last night; it's the first time i've drank any alcohol in a year! ha ha ha! Still focusing on my studies too!

Did you watch the Hitches and Fry Vs the MP and Bishop debate? I really want to see it!

Well, I'm back in the States. I ended up spending as much time as I could with my grandparents, and not really leaving Torrington other than to go to a zoo on Dartmoor one of the days. Bill and I might be back in June for my grandparent's 70th wedding anniversary, and he would like to go and see the Victory and the Mary Rose, so we might be over your way then, if you're still there.

By the way, I tagged you in a meme over at my blog...

Hi Andrew,
I'm going to be in Devon for my grandfather's birthday over the next couple of weeks. If you happen to be driving down that way, let me know. I think I'll have internet access at my aunt's house. (I'm having a hard time writing this while trying very hard not to sound like some sort of creepy stalker chick. Don't worry - I'm usually over 5000 miles away :-)

Sorry to hear about your break-in. That sounds horrible. We went through that about four years ago, and my friend just had someone obviously spend hours in her house while she was in Boston. I think she was most incensed that they stole her beer...

Aww! You poor thing! Seems that you have had a run of bad luck!

I'm looking forward to the christmas thingy, although i am going alone ha ha. I joined an atheist meetup in London, so i may meet people from there but as of yet i haven't met anyone so i hope to do so before the event is held. It would be nice to meet fellow free thinkers!

Nothing much is really going on with me at present - i'm just attending my singing school and doing a lot of reading. I still am not sure what i am doing in the new year, whether i shall go to France for six months or stay here in London - i have only been here for a month so it is too early to say whether i want to stay or not. I do really want to go to France, i guess i'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Don't worry about being 'bad' LOL - it's just nice to hear from you! :)

Yes, i have been in once or twice; i tried the other day but it wouldn't load up! Grrr! Typical! I'm not sure if it was my computer that was being awkward or if there were any problems with the site itself. I may have a look in past tonight and see if it is loading up yet.

hee hee hee, yeah - but fortunately you weren't able to respond because i got engrossed in one of them myspace quiz things that are a complete waste of time, yet i do them anyway!! hee hee!!

Yeah, i agree. They do make themselves look idiotic, but the thing is - they only look idiotic to the intelligent, logical thinkers - the idiots still fall for the crap! LOL!!

I was in stitches with laughter when Dawkins was reading out his emails, the one with no punctuation ha ha ha!

I thought that was funny, basicall - just make fool of them for being so stupid yet still thinking that their opinion is valid ha ha ha!

'Absolutely no punctuation at all in that one' (he says whilst out of breath hee hee) Class - i love the intellectual come backs, it really belittles idiots! hee hee!

I thought it was very good, although yes - i agree that i thought it would be more about Darwin than the controversy. I get very angry when i hear these fundamentalists speaking in such a manner - i hate how Dawkins seems to just let them away with it; i would get so angry hee hee. I hate how people are getting away with making out that there is some alternate theory (IT) to Natural Selection, i mean - it isn't an alternative at all, it is simply the idiots of this world trying their best to avoid facing the reality. Grrr! hee hee! I hate how they are taken so seriously, i'm not sure i could be bothered wasting my time on them, i mean - discussing the issue with them is sort of showing their beliefs some kind of respect and i simply cannot respect something so ridiculous!

Notice how they always have something negative to say about science, yet they call their silly ID - 'creation science' - Science is okay when it is them (even though it is quite clearly not science) yet Dawkins was being criticised for seeing the world as a scientist would? Grrrrrrr!! hee hee! It made me very angry!

As for Saturday - hmm, i never really did anything at all actually - i just stayed in and watched tv! hee hee!!

Hey Andrew!
Thanks for the message, yup, it's been a while...
I'm currently in Croatia (holiday *yay*), enjoying the great weather and the sea. But I will be home again in three days, and I don't really look forward to monday morning, standing in class and preaching maths to those "minimally exceptional" students *sigh*. But never mind, for now, I still try to enjoy myself and quite frankly I'm succeeding there ;-) So how are you? What you been up to?

I will be watching it tomorrow - i am revising for an exam tonight!

At least it will be over with this time tomorrow hee hee.

Oh right; i guess it is just taught programmes that have exams if any. That would be a nice thought actually - no more exams ha ha!

Have you been watching the Dawkins thing about Darwin? I really enjoyed the first part and am looking forward to part two!

I'm doing great thanks; i'm preparing for an exam that i missed back in January so not looking forward to doing it - oh well; it's the last exam i will have until January when i am sitting a psychology exam - i hate exams ha ha; pitty that academia has to involve so many of them!!

Do you have many exams in your phd? I worry about that when i start my phd - i'm still a bit worried about whether or not i should put myself through such a stressful thing ha ha, but i definitely want to be a psychologist so there's no escaping it if i am to go for it!!

Tonight i am babysitting again - so another fun filled Saturday night for me!!
