There is a Unitarian Fellowship there and a Dixie Reason Inquiry & Freethought college student group! There may be other reasonable/non-religious groups in the Cedar area that we haven't heard about yet"
I've heard that colleges don't set up core curriculums very well anymore causing students to take random classes that don't amount to marketable skills. I think it's important to take broad based education that includes art, history, science, anthropology, and etc. It's important to take classes that will further your employability.
The book What Color Is Your Parachute? may help you define your interests and help you decide which courses would be the most beneficial.
I'm doing OK, found some part-time temp work involving bicycle wheels starting next week...going to see the "Spruce Goose" (Howard Hughes' flying boat) in a couple of days...
Getting ready to watch Passion Of The Christ. Really looking forward to the partwhere Jesus gets his eyeball pecked out by a crow. Should be a big bag of fun. I'll review it here but it might be a few days.
