Hi Jose, My kids will be in NY until Sunday and they are both sick. Hopefully they will be better by the time they get back. We are around for the rest of the summer (we are both teachers) and the FLASH parents meetup is on the 12th. We will definitely work something out. We are looking forward to meeting you too. I'll talk to you soon.

"Because if we were to credit him for that, we'd have to make him responsible for all the suffering we saw. Also, I couldn't help to question, what was so special about our patrol? Why did he not protect other?"

It is amazing that this thought never seems to cross their minds, but i guess it is just the beginning of the rational thoughts one has to ignore in order to believe.

Semper Fi, It's been a long time since I heard that. I was in for four years, but I never really was gung ho enough for them, but i have to admit it's something that never leaves you, and is a part of some of my most enduring memories. Multiply x 10 or 100 for you I would imagine.

BTW I was a EE too for many years, until switching to software. I loved it.

Hey jose,

I was a Marine 20 years ago but never saw action. I can only try to imagine what the horrors of war can do to ones psyche, and hope you get any and all support you need.

On a side note, what's your experience with others like yourself? Do you think it is more common to lose faith or cling ever more desperately to it. In any case, welcome to A|N. I've hope you find is as friendly as I have.
