Greetings, Samantha! I notice you haven't been active at Atheist Nexus since Nov. <sigh> Sometimes it can seem a bit fragmented, with different groups for every interest. Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.
Ah, and I see you found Atheist Humor, too. That one isn't particularly discussion-heavy, but the comment section is pretty active and has a constant flow of amusing nonsense.
Actually, Atheist Singles is very discussion-heavy about relationship theory in general. Given the fact that it has 851 members scattered throughout the world, the odds of anyone even vaguely in your age range being within anything approaching driving distance are pretty slim. It's mostly a bunch of people bitching and moaning about there being so few atheists to date, anywhere near them. Just be sure to clarify that you're there for the relationship-theory discussion and you'll be good.
Hows working in I.T.?
It's slowly sucking out my soul. I have yet to find any evidence for a soul, but it may be a moot point for me, soon.
Heh, and yeah, I was in a weird mood when I did the photo-negative effect on that one.
You should also look at Atheist News, if you're into a lot of random discussion. That seems to be the most active group on here, conversationally ... that and Atheist Singles. Things start with news topics, in Atheist News, and then they wander all the hell all over the place, after that.
What are you planning on doing with the Writing Studies degree? Interesting layer on top of your existing degree.
