Cool looking lake, bet it's warmer than any around here! To be fair to Saskatchewan, it's not all like that. In fact, most of the province is thickly covered with boreal forest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saskatchewan). Most of the people in Sask. live in the lower 1/3, which is mostly grassland, with some badlands (Big Muddy area on the Montana border),and sand hill areas (Cypress Hills, also by the Montana border) thrown in. Where I live, in Alberta, is close to the Sask. border, and we haul into there fairly often. In fact, we are suppose to have an oil rig move this week from the city of Swift Current, Sask., to near the town of Brock, Sask.

I've never seen so much open space in my life. To me Lake Myaaka Fl is open territory.
